Introduction
to the Arts
believes in
the power of music to uplift the human spirit and improve
cognitive areas of life. Learning to play a musical instrument
can enhance self-esteem, nourish the human soul, provide comfort,
direction and unleash the creative energies within. Yet opportunities
to play and excel at playing a musical instrument have been
available to a select population. We provide the overlooked
population, youths and adults, challenged by life, physically
or otherwise, with the added opportunity to explore the power
of music.
